Georgia U.S. Senate Candidate Buckley Says Kelly Loeffler Is A Senator Serving Only White Social Conservatives, And That Does Not Work For Georgia

ATLANTA, GA, August 12, 2020 — Allen Buckley, a fiscal conservative independent candidate in the special election race for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Kelly Loeffler, says incumbent Kelly Loeffler is a senator serving only white social conservatives, and she is not a good fit for Georgia.

The United States faces an incredible number of challenges, including a national debt that is leading the nation to a financial catastrophe, exorbitant health care costs, the coronavirus and racial unrest. Regarding racial unrest, Senator Loeffler has completely rejected the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement. By doing so, she completely rejects the interests of a large segment of Georgia’s population.

Allen Buckley is a fiscal conservative whose campaign emphasizes solutions to the nation’s problems, including the national debt, exorbitant health care costs and racial unrest. His campaign website includes a page dedicated to racial unrest. In it, he recommends means of making matters better. Buckley said: “It’s clear that Senator Loeffler’s campaign and her views are dedicated to serving white social conservatives, while completely rejecting all aspects of BLM. There are legitimate aspects to BLM, and they need to be addressed. What happened to George Floyd should not have happened. The local system failed with respect to the Ahmaud Arberry matter. These are things that can and should be fixed. While protesting is part of the fabric of the U.S., looting and property destruction are unlawful, and should be stopped by the police. We need a U.S. senator who will serve all Georgians. Ms. Loeffler has shown an interest in two things: (1) serving white social conservatives; and (2) doing whatever Donald Trump wants. She is not what Georgia needs.”

Mr. Buckley’s “Save Tomorrow” campaign is about living for today and tomorrow, instead of living for today to the detriment of tomorrow. The focus is on doing things to make tomorrow as good as or even better than today, by acting now to address the nation’s financial challenges and confronting global warming in a practical way.
